In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We’ll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
Today’s “Photo of the Day” brings a true TGIF vibe to the table via Tom Parson’s nonchalant turndown whip at Jimmy Hill’s compound. While cruising a sunset session with Jimmy, Tom P was consistently scrubbing/whipping one of the biggest jumps out on the property with a race-style approach. At the end of the day he mentioned the take off made for a good base to send a scrub-style whip off – I’ll never understand what that even means. Regardless of how he got sideways in the air, a plain old black and white almost silhouette shot is just the ticket to making you think about riding this weekend. Get after it!
