Rolling into Sugo Sportsland last Saturday, I didn’t know what to expect. When the gate dropped I quickly found out that the sport of motocross is delivering battles worldwide on any given weekend. I’ve only ever briefly met Akira Narita, and we’ve covered his career extensively (See: The Shogun), but to watch him holeshot and lead both motos in Japan was really cool. He was overcome by the competition this day, but the four pack of riders in this shot put on a show for the whole day.
