In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We’ll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
There’s been a lot to talk about in the last couple weekends of racing due to the crazy first four motos, and one topic of conversation leaving Glen Helen were the impressive rides by the new rookies. Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna’s Michael Mosiman’s 8-10 moto scores for eighth overall were standout performances that did not go unnoticed, and the other fresh rookie Sean Cantrell wasn’t far behind with 10-11 scores. I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know the whole Mosiman family over the course of his amateur career, and it’s great to see his talent shining through in the big leagues. His older brother Josh can even be found lining up in the 450 class on the same Saturday! With a smooth and very controlled style Michael is always fun to watch as he rides his FC250 – he’s one of the most efficient, non rev-limiter bouncing, and momentum carrying riders you’ll see. Pay attention to these new kids and go give them a high five next time you see them because they are turning heads in a very deep field of talent!
