In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We’ll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
Marvin Musquin is a rider that’s always fun to watch ride, and this particular “Photo of the Day” is a perfect display of his natural style on the bike. One thing that’s cool to watch at a national or Supercross race is when the top guys are putting down a burner lap and the body English they exhibit after they cross the checkered flag. Generally it’s a scrub, but usually they are either confident and feeling it or maybe searching for more. This particular shot shows Marvin looking like he was feeling it and throwing a little style – it must have been a fast lap. After an impressive ride at Southwick, it will be fun to watch and see what Marvin can do the rest of the year.
