In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
Its always a good time to head to Florida and watch today’s top dudes throwing down mid-week. This particular Tuesday the coolest thing to see was the dedication to the training both Cole Seely and Adam Cianciarulo had during their 30 plus two-lap moto. In this particular case, Adam rocketed off first with Cole giving him a gap for a proper chase as the lap times favored his 450 this day. (This isn’t always the case though, as Adam mentioned he can pull faster lap times on his 250 some days considering the conditions.) As the moto went by Cole inched closer and closer to AC, and the aggression looked like a national moto – exactly the reason for drills like this. Cole eventually passed him, and the smack talk afterwards may have been the best part. The biggest takeaway from the day was more the fact that with a season closing out and plenty of riders burnt out, both guys are charging as hard as ever mid-week with a fire in their eyes. That’s respectable, and always cool to watch.
