Timed qualifying has just concluded for the 2017 Washougal MX, round nine of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. The slick and dark Washington track is always a challenge to riders, but within a few laps the field found their flow. As the series winds to an end, the field has thinned out due to injuries and a handful of competitors announced their absence for today’s race (Webb, Anderson, Alex Martin) earlier in the week but the 450 class took another huge hit when AutoTrader.com/Monster Energy/Toyota/JGRMX/Suzuki’s Justin Barcia went down in the final practice and was taken from the track in an ambulance. We will update his condition as we hear more.
