Timed qualifying has just come to a close at the 2017 Southwick MX, round seven of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. One of the iconic stops on the schedule, the sandy Massachuessets circuit is known for wearing down riders and equipment over the course of the day’s motos. Timed qualifying has just come to a close, with a pair of Kawasaki riders topping the charts in the 250 and 450 divisions.
– Trey Canard, Broc Tickle, and Jason Anderson are all out of competition today as a result of injuries. Red Bull KTM’s Canard and Rockstar Energy Racing Racing Husqvarna’s Anderson are hopeful for returns at Millville in two weeks, but RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing’s Tickle is sidelined for the rest of the summer.
