The lineup of the Germany team for the 2017 Motocross of Nations has been announced and to no surprise, it’s the same trio of riders that competed in 2016. Henry Jacobi will fill the MX2 (250cc) position while Max Nagl (MXGP/450) and Dennis Ullrich (Open/450) handle the big bike duties.
The team experienced their share of difficulties at the 2016 running of the race, as Nagl suffered a hard crash during the Saturday qualifying and was forced to sit out Sunday’s entire program, which kept the team from making the main motos of the weekend.
Earlier in the year Ken Roczen stated that he planned to race for Germany, which would have been the first time he lined up at the MXoN since 2013, but his serious arm injury and recovery has kept that plan from coming to fruition.
The 2017 Motocross of Nations takes place September 29th-October 1st at Matterley Basin in England. The event’s official website is www.mxon17.com.
