It wasn’t a perfect run for the American champ but his 4:02.974 put him a good 1.5 seconds ahead of the competition.
Second place went to Loic Bruni who finished on top yesterday in timed training. Minnaar was hot on his heels in third, this gives Minnaar some more valuable points in his defence of the overall, especially as there was clear daylight on the results sheet between him and Brosnan.
Fourth went to Danny Hart with Luca Shaw rounding things off in fifth.
