TWMXRS El’ Dorado Series | Round Five | Competitive Edge

And that's a wrap, the 2018 TWMX El' Dorado series is officially in the books, as we finished the series off at Competitive Edge this past weekend. The Oak Hills facility received some rain and even a light snow just days before racing, which made for some great soil come Sunday's event. Although we were faced with some cold weather, nearly 400 racers joined us for another exciting series finale.

Maximum Equivel put together an almost perfect day after taking home the overall win in both of his classes.

Maximum Equivel was one of the hundreds of Southern Californian racers that joined us for the El Dorado series finale. Although, he hadn’t raced any earlier rounds of the series, Maximum surely made his presence known. The youngster out of Helendale, CA raced his Husqvarna 85 to the top of the leaderboard in both 12-13 tears 85/150F and Open 85-150F/Suoermini classes. Despite a third place finish in one of his later motos, Maximum nearly swept both his classes with three moto wins.

Ryder Garcia pulled off a perfect day at the races, as he swept both of his classes and took home the two overall wins.

TWMXRS regular, Ryder Garcia, had quite a successful day at the races on both his 65cc and 85cc. The young ripper from Sylmar, CA has been logging consistent finishes at almost every round of the series. Things were looking pretty good for Ryder after his solid weekend at round four of the series, as he snagged the overall win in the Open 65cc class. Fortunately, his streak of success didn’t end there, as Ryder Garcia took home two overall wins and four moto wins in both the 9-11 65cc and 0-11 85/150F classes, this past weekend. Way to end the series off on a high note Ryder!

TWMXRS regular, Mike Cundari, was the guy to beat all series long in the Vet Exp Open class, as he took home the win each weekend.

Along with many other stacked classes that the El Dorado Series faced, the Vet classes were especially exciting to watch. Mike Cundari has been one of the notable guys amongst the Vet classes, as he landed in the top-three of the 30+ Pro class at almost every round. And to go along with that, Mike has taken the overall win in the Vet Exp Open class at each and every round of the 2018 El Dorado series. The racer out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA had some competition at our series finale, but still managed to take home the overall win in the Vet Exp Open class, as well as a second place overall in 30+ Pro. We can’t wait to see what Mike Cundari can do at our 2018 TWMX TransAm Vet Classic, which is set to take place at Glen Helen Raceway March 23rd through the 25th.
