TWMX Race Series Racer Profile | Noah Fraley | Transworld Motocross
Hometown: Chino Hills, California
Classes Raced: 450 Intermediate
Sponsors: Rock Oil and my dad
Noah Fraley is a nice young man who frequents our 450 Intermediate class. From afar, it looks like he has Fasthouse team graphics, but upon closer inspection, the logos are actually quite different. We had to get the story…
How did you get your nickname, Ginger?
I was born with it, people call me Ginger or Ging.
How long have you been racing and what led you to choose motocross?
I’ve been racing since I was five and my dad bought me an XR 50 and I started racing.
Do you participate in any other sports or have any hobbies?
No other sports, but I do skateboard, BMX, basically anything with wheels except rollerblades.
Do you mountain bike? I’ve heard that’s a good way to train for moto.
No, I don’t. It’s because mountain bikes are too expensive. *cough* I need to borrow a mountain bike or get a hookup! *cough*
How seriously do you take your racing?
Well, I pay for it, so I take it pretty seriously. I just like to have fun and throw whips on my dirt bike too, so as long as I’m having fun that’s all that matters.
What is your favorite track or track obstacles?
My favorite track is probably Pala because of the dirt. My favorite obstacle is probably the biggest jump on the track to throw a whip and get upside down.
At the TransWorld Series we try to offer a better racing experience, what do you think of our events?
Super organized and you get out of here pretty fast at the end of the day. Today was pretty busy, but we are still doing really good on time. The racing is pretty cheap too, especially for two classes.
What is your favorite thing about being a motocross racer?
You get all the ladies, haha I’m just kidding. My favorite thing is even if you have a team, you’re the only one who could make the results happen.
What would you rather do, holeshot a race and run away or come from behind to win?
Probably come from behind and make clean passes, no dirty passes!
Since you raced the whole Terra Firma series, which one do you think was your best race and why?
Oh man, I don’t know which one I placed the best in, but I can say I rode the best the first round here at Milestone because it is my local track, I only live like 20 minutes away.
Motocross is a really physically demanding sport do you train for racing and if so, how?
Yes, I go to the gym 3 times a week and road bike, because I can’t afford a mountain bike. (If I had a mountain bike I would be doing that.)
Tell me about your bike and why you chose it and what have you done to make it work well for you?
I have a bone-stock 2018 CRF 450 and all I did was put plastics and graphics on it. I need to get my suspension done.
Tell me a bit about your very unique graphics.
Well, I only have one sponsor besides my dad, so I didn’t know what to put on the rest of my graphics and I ended up customizing it myself. I put a bunch of stuff that a bunch of people wouldn’t like, but who cares because they’re mine!
