Malcolm Stewart is hoping to rehab in time to catch a few Supercrosses!

Malcolm Stewart was enjoying a very promising start to his 2019 Monster Energy Supercross season, as the SmarTop/Bullfrog Spas/MotoConcepts/Honda surprised many with his speed and fitness. Having spent the off-season training with Gareth Swanepoel, Mookie was in the best shape of his 450 career and excited about building on his seventh at the season opener. Sadly, Stewart crashed violently in the whoops in the main event in Phoenix and suffered a broken femur. After having it surgically repaired on Sunday at a local hospital, Malcolm walked the same day and was in the gym with Swannie beginning the rehab process two days later. We stopped by to check in on Malcolm in his Corona, California, home and sat with with both he and his mechanic Jason “Rango” Montoya for a chat about how things were going, what went wrong, and where he goes from here.

Thank you to Ogio, Rynopower, Scott Motorsports, Intense Cycles, and Roy’s Cyclery, for supporting the show!
