In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
Custom bike builds are just damn cool, and this fully dialed setup for Tyler Bereman is one of the nicest that I’ve shot. TB’s Kawasaki KX450F has been in the spotlight (usually being whipped upside down) in the recent months at every major contest, most recently winning the Monster Energy Cup Biggest Whip Contest. I got in touch with his mechanic Robbie Brown prior to that, who met me in Carlsbad for a shoot at train tracks for the December “Spanner” article. As we were wrapping up a train came in the distance, and I snapped this last shot and was digging the way it added to the photo. We then left before Amtrak called the cops on us! See more in our latest issue that’s out now and learn all about mechanic Robbie along with how this insane build came about.
