How much money would you have to be paid to attempt to skim a set of Supercross whoops?
In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
This Tuesday we headed out to Kawasaki’s private Supercross track to catch up and shoot some images of the guys as they tested. As always, Josh Grant was flying around the all-new layout with the speed and smooth style he’s known for. When Tomac showed up to ride the new layout for the first time it was interesting to see him ask Travis Parry about the lines and rhythm options that Josh had been jumping. Grant is one of those riders that can put together huge rhythm sections, so when Parry answered him some of the options that were accompanied with “It’s big, but definitely doable.” you could tell Eli was soaking it all in as he scanned the layout! Tomac took to the track and like clockwork was flying within a few laps, and both of the Monster Energy Kawasaki riders looked smooth and fast as ever as they pounded laps in preparation for A1. This year is going to be exciting, and you can bet that both JG33 and ET3 will be there ready to throw down! This shot of Josh skimming the whoops was a rad option for a black and white “Photo of the Day” presented by O’Neal.
