Talking To Kailub Russell About His First Pro Motocross National

Chatting With The 5x GNCC Champ

Factory fill-in rides seem to be a dime a dozen these days especially in the 450 class, but the latest fill-in got more people talking than usual, and for good reason, as the replacement choice seemed a little unorthodox at first glance. Broc Tickle and Red Bull KTM parted ways earlier this year, so there’s been an open spot on the team since the start of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, which had many wondering who the lucky fill-in would be, but nothing ever amounted until just last week when it was announced that 5-time GNCC Champion Kailub Russell would fill the spot at the final three rounds! We checked in with the Pro Motocross rookie following the mudder this weekend at the 2018 Unadilla Motocross, so check out what he had to say.
