While at Glen Helen Raceway for a standard Thursday practice session, one of our editors saw the Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna team tending to Jason Anderson on the side of the track. Anderson reportedly ran into another rider while doing laps and went down, which resulted in some sort of leg injury. Team Crew Chief Steve Westfall carried Anderson off the track and they left the facility immediately after. We have reached out to the team for an update or official word, but have not yet received a response. We will update this post as we learn more.

UPDATE 11:35 AM | Motocross Action has a post that includes photos and additional details of the crash on their site.

Anderson claimed the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series 450 championship, the first 450 title of his career, and after two rounds of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is ranked third overall in the 450 point standings.
