Sure, the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series is months away but the preparation for the championship run is about to start. Riders will soon get together with their trainers and spend time in the gym going through a rigorous “boot camp” of physical work to establish a solid baseline of fitness. Interval routines, marathon bicycle rides, and weight lifting will bring riders to their peaks of physical health, but rarely are those workouts done with pleasure. We asked racers if there is one particular element of boot camp training that they dread the most, and to no surprise, the exhaustion at the end of each day was a common answer.
