After missing multiple rounds of the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series due to injury, Alex Ray has announced that he will return to the starting line this weekend at the 2018 Seattle Supercross. The CycleTrader/Rock River Yamaha rider was injured in a mid-week practice crash that occurred in late February and left him with a dislocation of the right wrist and ruptured the patella tendon in his knee. Ray stayed off of the bike for a few roughly a month to heal the injury and recently resumed riding at practice tracks in Southern California. With this return, Ray will finish out out the final five rounds of the season in the 450 class.
Through the five Main Events that Ray has raced so far this year his best finish is a sixteenth at the 2018 Oakland Supercross and he is currently ranked twenty-fifth in the 450 class championship.
