Loretta Lynn Ranch Hurricane Mills, TN Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship (Loretta Lynn's) Amateur National Motocross Championship

With two motos (of three) already complete in the 250 A and Open Pro Sport classes at the 2018 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship, the battle for the AMA Nicky Hayden Horizon Award is tight. Troy Lee Designs KTM teammates Derek Drake and Mitchell Falk and Team Green Kawasaki’s Seth Hammaker are the frontrunners to capture the award.

One rider will etch their name in history beside the ones on the list below. Let’s take a look at every Horizon Award winner—and their results from the year they won the award—in the history of Loretta’s since the award started in 1997, beginning with a member of the Michigan Mafia.
