Photos by Spencer OwensToday, we got to visit the venue for the sixth round of the 2018 AMA Supercross series before the fans for the annual “press day” event at Petco Park in beautiful downtown San Diego. San Diego has been the Supercross round that the teams celebrate Military Appreciation. Riders gear and bike graphics are military oriented to support the troops.

Unfortunately, the pits are a bit aways from the stadium. So riders/mechanics will be taking to the streets to get to where they need to go.
Marvin Musquin’s Red Bull KTM 450SXF will not be ran today, but is ready to race tomorrow.

To date, this was by far the “biggest mainstream press day in the sports history,” quoted by FELD Entertainment’s Sean Brennan in regards to the major TV network’s in attendance.
