Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Jason Anderson Injured

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Jason Anderson sustained an injury yesterday morning while practicing at Glen Helen Raceway in preparation for the third round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, Colorado. The recently crowned 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Champion collided with another rider while doing a moto on his FC 450 Rockstar Edition machine that resulted in a compound fracture to his right foot that required surgery. Leading into Thunder Valley, Anderson was tied in the championship standings with Monster Energy/Yamaha Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia at 73 points after finishing fourth overall at the series opener at Hangtown and third overall last weekend at the second round at Glen Helen. Anderson is expected to recover in four to six weeks and is aiming to return to racing at the Unadilla National on August 11.
