FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Kacy Martinez grabbed her third win of the season at round 5 of the 2018 EnduroCross series at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington. Martinez holds the point lead heading into the final round in Boise, Idaho, this weekend.
“Brought home the W!” Martinez said. “[I] had a blast on a tight, tough, technical course [here] at round 5 of EnduroCross [this evening].”
A&E Racing/FXR/KTM’s Shelby Turner earned her second consecutive runner-up finish in Everett. The Canadian racer sits three points down from Martinez in the point standings.
Maria Forsberg, who is a former women’s EnduroCross champion, returned to racing after taking a few years off and finished in third in Everett.
“Wow, what a night!” Forsberg said. “Thank you [to] EnduroCross for putting on an awesome event and welcoming me back with open arms [and] to my friends, family, and fans for all the cheering. I was honored to be racing with all the incredible athletes.”
Jannie Devin-Lamontagne and Beta USA’s Morgan Tanke rounded out the top five, respectively.
