Passion - A Freeride Mountain Bike Documentary

The idea for “Passion” began in the summer of 2017 when then 17-year-old Peter Jamison lived in a tent at Highland Mountain Bike Park. During that summer, Jamison witnessed Nic Hilton and Reed Boggs attempting to learn flat-drop backflips for the first time, which shed light on a part of the sport he hadn’t seen before. Watching the process firsthand changed Jamison’s perspective, and it’s what he credits for his inspiration to make a film about the lives of professional freeride athletes.

Filming with Nicholi Rogatkin, David Lieb, Ethan Nell, Reed Boggs and Matt Macduff over the past year, Jamison looks at the motivations, lifestyles and goals of both up-and-coming riders and established pros.
